Jason Kofke and Rocío Rodriguez each winners of a $15,000 grand prize purse

Artadia: The Fund for Art and Dialogue has announced the winners of its 2011 awards cycle:

Jason Kofke and Rocío Rodriguez will receive $15,000, and Sarah Hobbs, Gyun Hur, John Q, Lynn Marshall-Linnemeier, and Micah Stansell will get $3,000 each. 2011 jurors included Bonnie Clearwater (Director and Chief Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami), Julie Rodrigues Widholm (Pamela Alper Associate Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago), and CL art critic Cinqué Hicks.

These seven winners were chosen out of a pool of 200 applications. In October, Artadia narrowed the list down to a final 15, including Yun Bai, Daniel Biddy, Brian Dettmer, Craig Drennen, Sarah Emerson, Sarah Hobbs, Gyun Hur, John Q, Jason Kofke, Lynn Marshall-Linnemeier, M. Ryan Nabulsi, Joseph Peragine, Rocío Rodriguez, Micah Stansell, and Jim Yarbrough.
