Grant Park Sat., Aug. 23, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Summer Shade Festival For 12 years running, the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival has given sweaty Atlantans a well-deserved break. This year the new ticketed tasting event Taquerias & Tequila will join old favorites like the 5K Run for the Park in a full schedule presented by the Grant Park Conservancy. With live music from Bradford Cox, the Wheeler Boys, Jungol, and other Atlanta favorites, a farmers market, an artists market, and a kids zone, there’s something for all members of the family.
