We finally know the name of the swanky new restaurant coming to Hotel Clermont above the Clermont Lounge. It’s called Tiny Lou’s and will officially reopen in spring 2018 as a “French-American brasserie with Southern accents” according to a press release. Named after a former dancer that worked at the hotel’s Gypsy Room back in the 1950s, the restaurant will be led by executive chef Jeb Aldrich and director of restaurants Nick Hassiotis, and serve up reimagined French classics like Blue Ridge trout almondine and escargot.
People of Johns Creek: A Korean steakhouse is finally opening near you! ARI Korean Steakhouse opens next week at 1700 Medlock Bridge Rd, serving lunch and dinner with an extensive barbecue menu and cocktails.
There is a new Blue Donkey Coffee coming to Grant Park soon at 275 Memorial Drive. Blue Donkey roasts single origin beans daily at their roaster. Other locations include Georgia Tech, Emory, Piedmont Park, and Peachtree City.
A new “boutique bodega” is coming to Ponce City Market. In addition to more than 50 periodicals and newspapers, Quick Quick will have convenience items, dry goods, household necessities, and snacks this fall.
You can soon drink Jingle Juice while watching films like Bad Moms 2 at the new Studio Movie Grill in Marietta. It opens next weekend at 40 Powers Ferry Rd., in the former Harry’s location, and offers luxury recliners, food and drink delivered to your seat, and daily specials. Wednesday is endless one-topping pizza day, y’all.

The city of Atlanta has acquired seven acres in Southeast Atlanta to plant a fruit orchard and community garden. Steward of the mission is urban foraging group Concrete Jungle. You can check it out on Sat., Nov. 11 for a day of volunteering and food. The garden is located at 2217 Browns Mill Rd.
