It’s finally Election Day!

After today, six of the eight mayoral candidates will have some time to take a breather. You might think they’d be relaxing already, but I found some campaign propaganda stuffed into my door jamb just this morning, and my email inbox is filled to the brim with last ditch efforts to win my vote and e-vites to candidates’ “victory parties.”

Of course, only two of those victory parties will actually live up to the title; the rest will devolve into ‘Well, we tried’ parties. If you feel so inclined to mingle amidst the mayoral madness, check out our list of celebration locations. Maybe you’ll see us around town tonight.

Keisha Lance Bottoms will be posted up at Downtown’s Hyatt Regency, in the V ballroom.

Mary Norwood will be shmoozin’ at 103 West, a Buckhead venue.

Peter Aman’s gonna be hangin’ at the Hotel Idigo in Downtown, not Midtown.

Ceasar Mitchell plans to hobnob over at Park Tavern, on Piedmont Park.

Vincent Fort will be partying with the Communications Workers of America Local 3204 on Logan Street.

Cathy Woolard will be found on Memorial Drive, at Six Feet Under.

Kwanza Hall’s gonna be kickin’ it at Old Fourth Ward’s 444 Highland.

John Eaves will be watchin’ results roll in from The Establishment at Colony Square.

Pretty much all of these shindigs will kick off around 7 or 8 p.m.
