Telefon Tel Aviv plays Aisle 5 Feb. 23
Joshua Eustis is back on the road supporting reissues of early classics ‘Fahrenheit Fair Enough’ and ‘Map of What is Effortless’
In the early aughts, Telefon Tel Aviv created glitchy, yet organic sounding, jazzy IDM/electronica (for Hefty Records) in the vein of Prefuse 73, Dabrye, Four Tet, and others. After a tragedy and a long hiatus, while playing with Nine Inch Nails and Puscifer, Joshua Eustis recently returned to original music as a single-man unit, ready to revive Telefon Tel Aviv. In celebration of this re-emergence, Ghostly International has re-released expanded editions of early TTA masterpieces Fahrenheit Fair Enough and Map of What is Effortless. With Flohr, Treppenwitz, and Dro HZ. $15. 9 p.m. Fri., Feb. 23. Aisle 5, 1123 Euclid Ave. NE. www.aisle5atl.com.
