SEE & DO: March for Our Lives

Students and supporters take to the streets

March for Our Lives is a student-organized, student-run protest aimed at protecting students and teachers from the mass school shooting epidemic. The grassroots movement began in reaction to the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, last month, in which 17 members of the MSD community were killed. MSD students planned the march in their group chats and living rooms just days after the shooting. March for Our Lives calls for a comprehensive and effective bill that addresses gun issues and gun control be brought to Congress. Survivors, students, and supporters are invited to march for their lives at the Georgia State Capitol.

Free. Sat., Mar. 24. 1 p.m. Georgia State Capitol, 206 Washington St. S.W.
