Pianos For Peace announces Chief George N. Turner of the Atlanta Police Department and Dr. Cedric L. Alexander, Chief of DeKalb County Police Department as recipients of the 2016 Pianos For Peace Teamwork Award. In joining efforts with Pianos For Peace, they are helping to transform police officers to peace officers. The awards ceremony commends the conclusion of the 2016 Pianos For Peace Festival. The pianos were then donated to Atlanta public schools, nursing homes, healthcare facilities and community centers.
