An exhibition in New York titled ‘8 Americans’ is honoring the mostly Asian victims of the Atlanta spa shootings of March 2021. The artists represented are Asian Americans who display strength and resilience in the face of racial injustice. Clara Ha, director of Tribeca’s Chart gallery, said the need for a show of this kind was obvious. “The Atlanta tragedy was a watershed moment that ignited a long overdue public acknowledgement and collective response to the escalating racial tensions and acceleration of hate crimes against Asian Americans in this country.” culturedmag.com
