Multi-slam champion Ashlee Haze leads a workshop that focuses on elements of poetry performance and the concepts of poetry slam ahead of the public slam competition to be held 2/29. Attendees will learn how to better captivate audiences using the voice as an instrument and basic slam choreography, as well as learning the rules and culture of poetry slam. Attendees are encouraged to bring an existing poem to workshop. Materials provided.
