The City of Roswell is pleased to announce the return of the once landmark event, the Roswell Roots Poetry Slam Competition. Hosted by Ashlee Haze, the evening will feature a spotlight showcase by poet and slam champion Adan Bean and three rounds of poetry competition featuring local poets. The top four winners will receive cash prizes, with a grand prize of $1000 for the 1st place winner. Five judges will be chosen randomly from the audience the evening of the event. This is an all ages event to attend, but you must be 18 to compete.
