CRITIC’S PICK: Rising Atlanta artist Hardrock may not release music that categorically fits within the genre confines of his stage name, but the alternative emo rapper is already proving that he is 1of1 amongst his contemporaries. This year, the mysterious underground entity’s output has been rather sparse, but recently released Honorable C N.O.T.E.-produced single “kingtut” appears to be gaining momentum online. Safe to say, if you pull up to Hardrock’s upcoming show at the Loft, you’ll definitely be early to the party for Atlanta’s latest rapper-tunt-rockstar.
