In recognition of “Earth Day” ArtsXchange will present the third in our new series,
Community Conversations. As we move through our 40th year of bringing diverse people and
perspectives together, we wanted to open a space where everyone could have a seat at the table.
Academics, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and creatives, will share with community members insights
from the field. Together we will engage in dynamic dialogue around various topics. This month, we will
look at the important role of pollinators in our community. It is in conjunction with Pollinators: Bees,
Plants and People, exhibiting in the Jack Sinclair Gallery, throughout April.

On April 20, 2024, we will ignite our first “Pollinator Day” in recognition of Earth Day
2024. It will be an exciting family-oriented event with workshops, food demonstrations, and gardening resources, dedicated to educating our communities on self-sustainability practices. Register For your free community plot, or gardening workshop this spring.

Workshops -

Introduction to Urban Farming and Sustainable Practices
Seasonal Oasis Plot Opening + seed, compost with @compostnowga,& a community plot giveaway.

Pollinator Garden Planting with @championgardeners 10am-11am (all ages): Free soil, pots, and seeds + fresh food market.
